A key factor is the high mechanical strength of the implant-grade stainless steel used. This material enables the production of screws with a diameter of just 1.0 mm and lengths of up to 14 mm while maintaining the necessary bending resistance and torsional stability. In this dimension, comparable titanium solutions are structurally limited, as very slender and simultaneously long screws made of titanium carry an increased risk of deformation or head fracture. The combination of a slim diameter and extended length allows reliable three-dimensional stabilization of bone plates, even in large augmentation volumes. Two thread diameters (1.0 mm and 1.2 mm) provide additional flexibility with regard to bone quality and the desired level of primary stability. In addition to its high mechanical strength, stainless steel offers a further clinical advantage: its intentionally low osseointegration allows even long screws to be removed in a controlled manner with moderate torque after the healing phase. This enhances safety during the second-stage procedure and reduces the risk of screw head fracture. The proven QUADRO screw head ensures form-fit torque transmission, prevents stripping, and enables precise and secure handling within the surgical field.
